Chicken Roast Recipe
Ingredients:
1 whole chicken (about 4-5 pounds)
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
1 teaspoon dried sage
Salt and pepper to taste
1 lemon, sliced
1 onion, sliced
2-3 carrots, chopped
2-3 potatoes, chopped

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Rinse the chicken under cold water and pat it dry with paper towels. Place it on a roasting pan or a baking dish.

Rub the seasoning mixture all over the chicken, making sure to coat it evenly.
Stuff the cavity of the chicken with the lemon slices, onion slices, and a few sprigs of fresh herbs if available.

Cover the roasting pan with aluminum foil and roast in the preheated oven for about 1 hour.

The internal temperature of the chicken should reach 165°F (75°C).
